Cairns and Tropical North Queensland are typically known for two seasons and accordingly we have two different rates.

The High Season (April-October) averages temperatures from 17/18 degrees Celsius overnight and up to 26/27 during the day. During the Low Season (Nov-March) the temperature ranges from 23/24 degrees Celsius overnight to 34/35 degrees during the day. February and March are known as the "Green Season" or "Waterfall Season". This is the ideal time to view the amazing Barron Waterfalls and many other beautiful waterfalls and volcanic lakes found in the nearby rainforest hinterland. For the keen fishermen, the Barramundi season is 1st Feb to 31st October.
