One of our favourite things to do in Yorkeys Knob is to meet with friends a the Yorkeys Knob Marina Boat Club. It is built out over the water with an enormous deck covered in a huge sail cloth, is only a 5 min walk from your Yorkeys Knob Beach Holiday Accommodation. This tropical, open air restaurant is open all day seven days a week. A must visit during your stay at Yorkeys. Enjoy delicious local seafood or simply relax with a cool drink as you absorb the stunning natural scenery of the hinterland mountains, the sparkling waters of the Coral Sea with the activity of the yachts and boats coming and going at the Marina. Sailing and diving trips to the Great Barrier Reef can also be arranged at the Yacht Club.
Judy’s apartment is perfect for the family or a group of friends. My boat lives at the marina and we fly up from Melbourne. This visit I spent a week there with the boys and the second week with my wife and two kids (4 and 7).
